The breeding that produced Jazz was one that could only produce pups of high desire, intelligence and conformation. Her grandparents and parents are from versatile German and American championship stock as her impressive pedigree shows. Jazz followed their heritage by achieving Prize I’s in NA and Utility.
Jazz was the only female in her litter. Then, and ever since, she has proved she can play with the big boys. She’s shown high prey drive, love of the water and superior hunting instincts. Thus the reason for her registered name suffix, MD, which stands for Meat Dog.
Thankfully Jazz possesses the natural instincts to retrieve and honor, which made training her a breeze and contributed to many pleasurable and relaxing hunting trips. Her desire to please is only exceeded by her love to hunt. Jazz has a medium range field search but has adapted exceptionally well to the grouse woods of Michigan, CRP land while on a pheasant hunt in Iowa, the prairies of Montana where she sought out sharptail grouse and the potholes of Canada where she retrieved many downed ducks.
Jazz is equally content in our home and with children. Additionally, she took readily to motherhood. She is truly a versatile dog and one that any person would be proud to own.
Lance Vernam of Michigan is Jazz's owner and the co-breeder of her litters.
